| 10/13/2008 - The layout of the course was fine but the condition was average. The fairways were thin and the greens were very sandy. The course may have just been a bit more difficult than we thought. Posted by James (Salix, PA) |
| 02/07/2008 - We played the Forest course and it was a little tight. We played it on our last day, and that saved us some golf balls. The pace was a little slow as we had to wait at several holes but we finished 18 in 4 hours! We played the tips and I, being a 8-12 handicap, walked away with an 84. We would play the course again. | 04/19/2007 - Played on the day of the big wind (same day as the Hilton Head PGA event was cancelled), so course was wet and windy. On a more calmer day, I would have enjoyed the course more. No course marshalls all day , and it was a 5 hour game....... Posted by Greg (Montreal, QC) |

Located just north of Tampa Bay Downs (20 minutes north of downtown), The Eagles features two 18-hole golf courses surrounded by over 30 lakes, ponds, and canals. The Lakes sports an abundance of water hazards, elevated greens and many fairway bunkers. Designed by Ron Garl and Gary Koch, the Forest features the signature island-green sixth hole, which rivals the famous 17th hole at the TPC at Sawgrass. These two outstanding courses are kept in "tournament condition" year round.
