| 11/26/2007 - This course is awesome and the most impressive course I played. Water is in play on most holes, but the fairways are pretty open. It's a pretty course and just started taking public golfers. The entrance is gated, adding to the ritzy feel of the course. Range balls are free with golf, a rare added plus. It's busy enough that you might be paired with someone, even in November, and the pace of play can be a bit slow. Overall, a highly recommended course. Posted by Matt (Molene, IL) |

Consistently rated four stars by Golf Digest since 1996, this course is the highest rated in the Sarasota area and one of the best in the state. Designed by Ron Garl, it offers 27 thrilling holes winding their way through natural woodlands and wetlands, all surrounded by canopies of southern live oak and slash pines. There's also a great practice facility and a unique, well-equipped pro shop.
