08/25/2008 - A great course. Posted by Geoff (Merritt Island, FL)
The Copperhead Course at Innisbrook is considered one of the best resort courses in the country (as rated by Golf Digest) and is host to The Transitions Championship, a PGA Tour event. The par-71 course plays over 7,350 yards from the back tournament tees and is a very stern test of golf with terrific greens. The course is best characterized by its tree-lined fairways and rolling natural setting. It's actually more reminiscent of a Carolina layout than its location on Florida's West Coast. Play where the pros play...
"Copperhead is the best course we play on TOUR." ~ Paul Azinger, 2008 US Ryder Cup Captain
