Wekiva Golf Club, located just 15 minutes west of I-4 in Longwood, has recently seen a well needed refurbishment. Architect Ron Garl and his design firm have redone all of the greens, green surrounds, and green side bunkering. The greens have been re-surfaced with TifEagle Bermuda and are in excellent condition; rolling smooth and fast. In addition, Garl has added new tees to a number of holes and the course now plays approximately 400 yards longer from the tips. Wekiva is truly a great test for golfers of all levels; a course that you will return to year after year.
NOTE: Wekiva overseeded wall-to-wall for the 2006 winter season.
