04/21/2008 - Would love to play this course again when it gets a little older / could use either rakes on the cart or a few more in the bunkers Posted by David (Arborg, MB)
04/07/2008 - Did not like the course. Greens were so so. Pin placements on slopes of green made putting difficult. Posted by Stephen (Staten Island, NY)
03/24/2008 - This is not the kind of course to play the first day after not holding a club for 4 months...too much water. Nice course but it should have been scheduled later in the week. Posted by Bob (Mundelein, IL)
03/24/2008 - IT ISN'T VERY OFTEN THAT A COURSE IS TOO TOUGH FOR OUR GROUP. EIGHT OF OUR GROUP'S HDCPS ARE 16 OR LESS, AND EVEN OUR BETTER GOLFERS FELT THAT THIS COURSE WAS TOUGH DUE TO THE MANY WATER HAZARDS. TOO MANY FAIRWAYS AND ROUGHS WERE SLOPED TO THE WATER. TOO MANY MEDIOCRE TO GOOD SHOTS RESULTED IN LOST BALLS IN THE WATER, ESPECIALLY OFF OF THE TEE INTO UNSEEN HAZARDS. Posted by Mike (Macedonia, OH)
03/20/2008 - Another favorite. Posted by Daniel (Northville, MI)
03/13/2008 - greens where awesome fastest I have played in Florida Posted by George (Watervliet, NY)
| 03/07/2008 - Our 2 groups played our worst golf in our 4-day trip, but you guys did not harrass us. We really appreciated that.
Always a good time at Ridgewood Lakes no matter how poor we shoot! Now if i can only get my wife to consider retiring there :O) Posted by Edward (Webster, NY) |
01/22/2008 - Ridgewood Lakes was our newly requested facility this year. The course was in outstanding condition and we were treated like royality. We followed Greg Gagliardi from Diamond Players Club because he more than anyone else really made all of us feel at home. He has really become a friend of our group and in years to come his course will always be our first choice. I would recommend Ridgewood above all others. Posted by Bill (Louisville, KY)
01/21/2008 - One of the most difficult courses when the wind is blowing. But a fair test of any ablity of golfer. Posted by John (Rochester, NY)
01/21/2008 - Pretty good value for the price. Posted by Julie (Calgary, AB)

Rated by Golf Digest as the Best New Course in 1994 and one of the Top 50 Courses in Florida by The Florida Golfer in 1999, this Ted McAnlis layout is a truly diverse test of golf. Shot positioning is crucial as water and/or wetlands can be found on 16 holes; however, the fairways had been widened in 2004 to create more fair and forgiving landing areas. The front nine is not encumbered by homes, but water features do abound. The back nine plays through a more residential area, offering more generous fairways. A beautiful southern-style clubhouse is an additional amenity. Located on Hwy. 27 in Davenport, just south of I-4 and 15 minutes west of the Disney area and US192.
Includes $10 merchandise voucher (excludes golf balls and gloves), complimentary range balls COMPLIMENTARY LUNCH included with golf 12/01/08 thru 5/04/09
