05/06/2008 - Fairways were tight. Placement off the tee were very important. Greens were excellent, very fast, but true, sand traps were well maintained and the water comes into play. Overall I would give this course 4 1/2 stars. Posted by Dick (Rochester, NY)
04/07/2008 - Great Course. Posted by Mike (Homer Glen, IL)
| 02/10/2008 - Nice layout, a bit rough around the edges. Hit it straight there!
Staff was excellent and very nice. Posted by Bob (Pittsburgh, PA) |
11/20/2007 - an absolutely brilliant course , would certainly play it again and have already recommended ti to members of my club and other friends Posted by Robert (Cheshire, )
11/09/2007 - Tough starting holes, some think too hard, nice course for the price. Posted by Bruce (Dubuque, IA)
11/05/2007 - This is one of those courses that with some money and love could be something special. Posted by Jim (Indianapolis, IN)
05/14/2007 - It was just 'OKAY' Posted by Debbie (Dartmouth, NS)
03/27/2007 - fabulous course Posted by Gary (Rock Springs, WY)
03/19/2007 - Course to tight and if you are off fairway it is a lost ball Posted by Frank (Matthews, NC)
03/13/2007 - This course was too narrow for the average golfer. There were too many things to get in trouble with. I would only recommend this couse for 10 handicaps and below Posted by Joe (Newark, DE)

Located 25 minutes southwest of the Disney area in Haines City, Diamondback is one of Joe Lee's most memorable Florida layouts. The course was carved from 240 acres of virgin forest and offers dramatically rolling fairways bordered by dense trees, natural wetlands, and well-positioned water hazards (water comes into play on 5 holes). This naturally scenic layout runs through a non-residential environment (no homes!) which is very unique to the Central Florida area, creating a very peaceful round of golf. Always in excellent shape, the course has formerly been rated 4 stars by Golf Digest's "Best Places to Play."
