10/02/2008 - First time, but not the last. Really nice golf course ! Posted by Pierre (Deux Montagnes, QC)
06/25/2007 - Loved the 767-yard 18th. Didn't care for the split starting on 1 and 10. The reason people request the first tee time of the day is that they want to play a round as quickly as possible. Five hours+ doesn't do it for me. Still, an enjoyable tract. Posted by Maryann (Doylestown, PA)
02/06/2007 - This course was the best we played. It had some time to dry out a little and this made the play much better. Posted by Bob (West Jordan, UT)

Farmstead has gained recognition for its mammoth par-six 18th hole. Yes, you read that right, a par six! The tee box on the 767-yard hole is set in South Carolina, and the green is actually in North Carolina. Is it a gimmick? Not really. It's different, but it's a well-designed hole. The remaining 17 holes are also a delight to play. Originally designed by Willard Byrd, the club recently brought Dave Johnson in to make some enhancements to the layout. The results are impressive! After your round, enjoy the course views from the clubhouse grille.
