| 01/14/2008 - What can I say..just magnificent! The course was in exceptional shape. Very challenging, lots of fun, over all a wonderful experience. Can't wait to play again.. Posted by Eileen (Morganville, NJ) |
| 12/06/2007 - Very srtaight forward golf course. The "no Bunkers" at greenside was a little puzzling though.
Just o.k.
Best pro shop of the trip ironically. Posted by Harry (Burlington, ON) |
| 05/29/2007 - This was an absolutely beautiful course! Posted by Beverly (Attleboro, MA) |
| 04/30/2007 - Great course. Nice facilities. Posted by Gary (Elmhurst, IL) |
| 03/19/2007 - Obviously almost on the hotel grounds. We have never played a course with no rough or traps, but the rest of the hazards, water more than make the course pretty difficult. Greens quite good, but tricky.
The staff outside of the pro shop, seemed to be looking for a tip all the time, but still enjoyed the experience. Posted by Jim (Darien, CT) |
| 03/07/2007 - A good track with unique design Posted by Harry (Stevensville, MI) |
| 01/22/2007 - We enjoy this course as it is very forgiving and fun to play. In comparison to Hammock Bay, however, this is over-priced, but it is a Ritz Carlton resort course! Posted by Maysoon (Reston, VA) |
| 12/06/2006 - Best couse we played. Great staff and excellent course conditions. Posted by Geralyn (Fall City, WA) |

WCI, in a partnership with Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, sought the expertise of golf legend Raymond Floyd to design 27 golf holes and make history, as Raptor Bay becomes the first resort course in the world to receive Audubon International's Gold Signature Certification. The first 18 holes opened for play in September 2001 and feature multiple tee locations, so the course can play from a variety of lengths and angles. Fairways are very wide and feature one height of cut throughout the course.
Unique to Raptor Bay is the use of native sand and palmetto areas, which are incorporated into the design of waste areas. The course is devoid of any sand bunkers; instead, golfers will selectively encounter these sandy native areas adjacent to greens and fairways. Surrounding the course are 22 acres of lakes and more than 200 acres of native vegetation and nature preserve areas, giving some lucky guests a chance to glimpse a bald eagle or gopher tortoise.
