| 04/09/2007 - One of the nicest courses i have played anywhere in Florida. Never saw another foresome in front or back of us. Staff was a little "stuffed shirt" type. Excellent conditions all around. Posted by Joe (Berkeley Hts, NJ) |
| 03/05/2007 - First class operation. The new nine hole course-(IBIS) needs to "grow in" a little more but overall experience was fantastic. Posted by Kevin (Plymouth, MI) |

Located in north Fort Myers lays one of the finest courses in Southwest Florida. In keeping his reputation of designing top quality golf courses along Florida's Gulf Coast, Chip Powell has done it again with Pelican Preserve Golf Club. The design features abounding water, sand and grass hollow hazards that are perfectly complemented by generous landing areas and gentle contouring of TifEagle "Ultradwarf" greens. Players will have a memorable golf experience from the moment they step up to the first tee to the moment they hole out on one of the best finishing holes anywhere, the 444-yard Par-4 eighteenth. This dogleg right finishing hole not only features its challenge in length, but also requires a precise tee shot to avoid a nasty cluster of bunkers at the dogleg and to avoid the water hazard that lurks just through the fairway. Golfers will then be faced with a mid-iron to the green protected to the left by a bunker and the water hazard.
